Patrick O’Connor Sr., 83, of GraftonGrafton – Patrick Francis O’Connor Sr., 83, of Grafton, passed away on January 27th, 2023, at home, after a lengthy illness.

He leaves his wife Mary (O’Malley), his children Margaret Dumas and partner James Brawn, Jr., Patrick F. O’Connor, Jr. and his wife Lizze, his step-daughter Michelle Courtney, his grandchildren Patrick, Liam, Colm O’Connor, Evan Dumas and his wife Amanda, Nicole O’Connor, wife Elizabeth Mannion, Kristina Dixon and her husband Matthew, Amanda Bourbeau and her husband Emile and Shannon, his great-grandchildren Caleb, Landon, Easton, Matthew, Eli and Leo, Emile, Jr. and Rene, his brothers Mark and Stephen O’Connor and many nieces and nephews.

Patrick was predeceased by siblings John O’Connor, Joseph O’Connor, and Bridget Doyle.

He was born September 26th, 1939 to Mark O’Connor & Mary King in Clifden, Co. Galway, Ireland. In 1961 he came to the United States where he married Mary (O’Malley).

In 1997, Patrick retired from New England Power, after 30+ years of service. After retirement, he spent much of his time with family. He enjoyed annual trips to New Hampshire with his grandchildren, as well as trips “back home” to visit family and friends in Ireland.

All are welcome to gather with Patrick’s family and friends Saturday February 4th, 2023 from 10am-12pm at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536 followed by the celebration of his Funeral Mass at 12:30pm at St. Mary’s Church 17 Waterville St. N. Grafton, MA 01536. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in North Grafton.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America , an organization they feel strongly about supporting at www.Alzfdn.org.
