Four-star cornerback Jayden Lewis commits to Auburn football
The Tigers get another defensive back in their 2024 roster with the addition of four-star Anniston product Jayden Lewis.
Lewis, who comes in at 6'0 and a slight 175 pounds, is a rangy defensive back that has insane speed. As well as football he has also done track during his high school career.
With the addition of Wesley McGriff to the Auburn secondary coaching staff, he has become an assassin on the recruiting trail, helping to secure Auburn a top 20 class alongside fan-favorite Zac Etheridge.
The duo of Etheridge and McGriff put their sights on Lewis, in fact, McGriff was the lead recruiter for Lewis at Louisville and offered him the same time Etheridge and Auburn did, on January 20th, 2022.
Auburn has been on the top of the board for Lewis for a while, as they were in his top six that was released earlier this January.
Lewis has been visiting Auburn frequently since his freshman year, and the visit that occurred during the Junior Day event seems to have helped to push Auburn over the edge, so much so that Lewis joins the 2024 class.
Lewis joins fellow defensive back A'mon Lane as the only recruits in the 2024 class that are committed to the Tigers.
