Believe it or not, the Cardinals are Handling This Offseason Well

It's easy to get frustrated with the Arizona Cardinals lack of a head coach, but believe me that this is the right way to go about the process.

When going through a transitional phase like the Arizona Cardinals, the most important thing an organization can do is be patient and trust the process. That has been the case thus far, although it hasn't been received as well by many.

However, I am here today to tell you that this has been the perfect thing for the Cardinals and you should be happy with what's going on.

So far, there hasn't been too much to report regarding the offseason for the Cardinals. The team took some time to identify their new general manager and hired former Tennessee Titans director of player personnel Monti Ossenfort.

With that, the first big piece of the puzzle was filled for the Cardinals.

This move came a couple of weeks following the conclusion of the season and the Cardinals interviewed several candidates, including in-house options like Adrian Wilson for the position. But ultimately owner Michael Bidwell feels confident in his decision.

Since then, the Cardinals have conducted several interviews for their vacant head coach position. It has yet to be filled and some fans are becoming restless.

The Cardinals have interviewed several candidates that would excite the fan base. However, two more names are off the market now including the fan-favorite Sean Payton. This has begun to make fans frustrated with the lack of a final decision.

Red Sea, be patient and wait for the right time. I promise this isn't a decision that should be rash and forced.

The Cardinals are facing a complete overhaul that hasn't been seen since Steve Keim and Bruce Arians took over in 2013. The team has remained stable in the front office, although there have been three head coaches in that time frame. Bidwell has clearly shown patience with his employees.

That kind of stability is rare and attractive, but it also means that the team needs to make sure with absolute certainty that their next head coach is the right man for the job. The team did that once in 2018 with Steve Wilks and it did not go over well.

The most important thing to remember right now is that this is one of the most pivotal hires in recent memory for the Cardinals. The team has several pieces in place and none more important than its franchise quarterback, Kyler Murray. Now the team needs to take some time to get its head coaching hire right.

I know that it's hard to be patient right now, but believe me when I say that this is the right way to go about it and instead of getting frustrated, we should be praising the Cardinals.
