In tumultuous times like these, The Hemline Index theory suggests that skirt lengths should be longer, reflecting the decline of the economy. Hailey Bieber, however, has other ideas. The supermodel has defied the global recession one micro hemline at a time.
Her latest legs-for-days look came in the form of glossy short-shorts (like, really short) from Maximilian Davis’s Pre-Fall 2023 collection for Ferragamo. Hailey wore the full outfit as seen in the look book, comprising a white top and a textured patent coat. The combination of the long coat and shorts tapped into the idea of “mixing hot and cold” that Davis focused on this season, inspired by the contrast of the mountains and palm trees seen in LA.
