UPDATE: Feb. 2:The Jefferson County Coroner Medical Examiner's Office (JCCMEO) identified the deceased crash victim as David Bishop, 33, of Birmingham.--------------------------------An investigation is underway to find more details about a crash in which a Birmingham man died.The Jefferson County Coroner Medical Examiner's Office reported the 33-year-old man was in a Dodge Challenger moving on Pinson Valley Parkway near Winewood Road.The car collided with a tractor-trailer at about 6 p.m. on Jan. 30, said the coroner's office.The man was taken to UAB Hospital, where he died about an hour later.The Birmingham Police Department is investigating.
