Family seeks answers after woman hit multiple times on I-4

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A grieving family wants answers after a young woman’s mysterious death on a busy Central Florida interstate.

Her family is pleading for help after their cousin was hit multiple times on I-4 last week. There are no answers as to how she ended up outside her car.

Around 11:30 p.m. one night, Orlando police started getting calls of multiple drivers hitting a body on I-4 heading east near the Orange Blossom Trail exit.

Taqilla Shepherd, 39, owned a car wash, tax business, makeup line and was about to venture into trucking.

Her car was found in the middle of the interstate just under the eastbound sign, but her car was found just over a quarter-mile away, off the ramp for the exit. The car was empty and crashed around the corner on the main road of OBT South.
