What the ESPN BPI Says About WVU's Chances Against TCU

Can the Mountaineers sweep the Frogs?

The West Virginia Mountaineers look to keep the good times rolling as they've won two straight and three of the last four, which includes a win over tonight's opponent - TCU.

Erik Stevenson finally busted out of his slump posting a 31-point performance in the 80-77 victory over No. 15 Auburn in the Big 12/SEC Challenge over the weekend. During the mini two-game winning streak, the Mountaineers have seen a major rise in the game of James Okonkwo who has provided some elite rim protection and has been solid on the boards as well.

Rebounding and paint play will be key in tonight's game once again for the Mountaineers as they dominated TCU on the glass 31-18 over a week ago. In that matchup, WVU pulled down 14 offensive rebounds which gave them several second chance opportunities.

Following their loss to WVU, the Horned Frogs bounced back as good as Jamie Dixon could have possibly hoped for with a 23-point win over the Kansas Jayhawks in Lawrence. They followed that up with a 27-point beatdown of Oklahoma but had some unfortunate luck over the weekend, losing their best player, Mike Miles to injury in the overtime loss to Mississippi State.

According to the ESPN BPI, West Virginia has a 27.2% chance of winning while TCU has a 72.8% chance.
