The arrest took place in the 3800 block of N. Geraldine in Oklahoma City.

From earlier reporting, Free Press learned some basics of the crime for which Stewart was arrested.

On January 20th, police were called to 700 N.E. 32nd Street near the intersection of N.E. 32nd and Lincoln in the Capitol View neighborhood around 2:30 a.m. “on reports of gunfire,” according to Sgt. Dillon Quirk with OKCPD.

When officers arrived they found McCain who had been “shot to death.”

From interviews at the scene, officers had an idea of who the suspect was and that he had fled the area after the shooting.
