Do you hear that?

It’s the sound of hearts breaking across Philadelphia and the state of Pennsylvania… and let’s be honest, everywhere else in the country, too.

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts made a very rare public appearance with his girlfriend Bryonna “Bry” Burrows after the NFC Championship game this past Sunday, which is a surprise to many fans, as he is extremely private about his life outside of football.

He never confirmed having a girlfriend or brought her around the cameras during his previous NFL games, but according to the New York Post, the pair met while he was still at Alabama, and have been dating on-and-off since 2016, even during his time playing for the Oklahoma Sooners.

His team officially sealed their trip to Super Bowl 57 in a couple weeks after beating the San Francisco 49ers last weekend in Philly, and he had her in the thick of the post-game celebrations, as she sported his NFC Championship hat down on the field:

They were also seen walking through the tunnel under the stadium after the game:

Also according to The Post, Bry graduated from Alabama in 2017 with a degree in political science, and went on to earn her MBA there, as well, and she currently works as an Al Partner at IBM.

And of course, because Jalen was a favorite among the ladies (for obvious reasons), there were some very devastated fans in the comments upon finding out he’s seemingly taken:

“Can you like.. stop? leave us alone right now I mean really I just found out the love of my life is somebody else’s love of their life.”

“Exactly like he went the whole season hiding it he shoulda kept going.”

“Shes not me tho.”

“GIRLFRIEND?!?!?!? I can’t breathe.”

And there are plenty more like it if you scroll through Twitter on that post…

But hey, at least you can still watch him in the Super Bowl, right?

The Eagles will face the Chiefs at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on Sunday, Feb. 12th.
