Andrew SetoSouthborough – Andrew Seto, 53, of Southborough, died Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at his home in Southborough, MA.

He is the son of the late Hock Kwong and Chi Ying (Chu) Seto and the husband of Van (Dinh) Seto, to whom he was married for 26 years.

Andrew was born in Astoria, New York, the youngest of 5. He moved to Hollywood, Florida when he was 9.  He graduated from Chaminade High School, going on to receive his bachelors and MBA from Florida Atlantic University. In that time, he met his wife, Van, and had his first son, Chris. Work first brought the Setos to San Francisco, where Nick was born, and later to Massachusetts, with Cameron joining the family soon after. Andrew’s character was immediately apparent to those he met, with his boisterous nature, infectious laugh, and lighthearted attitude livening any room. Close family and friends were treated to Andrew’s special rendition of Happy Birthday, often leaving listeners in fits of laughter. Behind his joking exterior, Andrew was a deeply kind and compassionate man. He consistently went above and beyond to help those around him, regardless of the personal cost. Following his diagnosis in Fall 2014, Andrew continued to work to support his family, only stepping away towards the end of 2022. Andrew left an indelible mark on the lives of those around him and he will be dearly missed.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons, Christopher Seto, Nicholas Seto and Cameron Seto, his brothers, Marvin Seto of Albany, NY, and Jay Seto and his wife Tipp of Tampa, FL, and his sisters, Polly Tran and her husband Bach Ung of Parkland, FL and Beverly Baker and her husband Dennis of Lake Worth, FL.
