BOGALUSA, La. — One woman was stabbed another woman was badly cut in a home invasion according to the Bogalusa Police Department.
It happened around 2:15 p.m. on Monday in the 900 block of Mercedes Street in Bogalusa Louisiana.
When officers arrived on the scene they called for EMS. The women told officers that Anthony Stevenson, 25, a native of Liberty Mississippi forced his way into the home and attacked them.
Police say the women were treated at the hospital for their injuries.
Officers attempted to locate Stevenson in the area but were unable to find him.
After warrants were obtained for Stevenson on the charges of Home Invasion, Attempted Second Degree Murder, and Second Degree Battery, as well as Domestic Abuse Battery involving Child Endangerment, he turned himself in to police custody on Tuesday.
He was booked into the city jail and will await a transfer to the parish jail after a bond hearing.
