This marks Morris' first senior managerial role after being in charge of Chelsea's Under-21 side and an assistant for their U18 team - winning the FA Youth Cup twice and the Premier League twice after being appointed manager with the latter in 2016 - before being assistant to Frank Lampard at Derby County and Chelsea.
