Report: Liverpool Defender Ibrahima Konate Ruled Out With Hamstring Injury

The French international was injured during the 2-1 defeat in the FA Cup against Brighton on Sunday.
Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp have suffered another huge blow with reports claiming that Ibrahima Konate will be out for up to three weeks with a hamstring injury.

According to Paul Joyce of The Times, the 23-year-old will miss the Premier League encounters against Wolves, Everton, and Newcastle United, and possibly the huge Champions League first leg clash with Real Madrid.
The Reds are already missing Virgil van Dijk who picked up a similar problem during the defeat at Brentford at the start of January and is not expected back for another two weeks.
That leaves Joe Gomez, Joel Matip, Nathaniel Phillips, and Rhys Williams, who has returned from a loan spell at Blackpool, as the remaining options for Klopp in the centre of defence.
Liverpool continue to be without Arthur Melo, Roberto Firmino, Diogo Jota, and Luis Diaz who are also sidelined through injury in what is proving to be another problematic season for the club.
