Chelsea have launched a bid worth €120million, but it is yet be accepted by Benfica. They are still reluctant to lose Enzo and it is now a race against time for Chelsea.
A private jet is in Lisbon waiting to fly Enzo back to London to undergo a medical, and it's the same jet that flew Mykhailo Mudryk into London when that deal was being completed.
Despite their not being a breakthrough as of yet Chelsea are confident a deal will be possible. Todd Boehly is reported to not be willing to take no as an answer.
Negotiations will continue throughout the day but Chelsea ideally need a breakthrough soon to get all the medical's and paperwork done to be able to confirm the move before the deadline.
Enzo wants the move and personal terms are agreed. All eyes on Chelsea and Benfica in the coming hours.
