Oceans Unknown: Steven Lorentz

The Oceans Unknown series gives fans an opportunity to get to know their favorite Sharks off the ice. Since the Sharks were in North Carolina as part of their five-game road trip, we thought it was only right to have
Steven Lorentz
give us a tour of his old stomping grounds.

First stop on the list…Bartaco. Bartaco was one of Lorentz's favorite restaurants when he lived in Raleigh, he and his teammates loved it so much that they would sometimes go three times a week (that's dedication).

Not only was Warby Parker an aesthetic photo location, but practical considering Lorentz has worn contacts for nine years. We've come to the consensus that it's about time to get this man a pair of glasses.

Once Steven made it into the NHL, he and his roommate made their first big purchase, Rolex watches. Of course, they didn't want to match so each of them bought a different style. It's something they both wanted for a long time and an item that will always hold sentimental value.

Hockey players, they're just like us… including their love for Chick-Fil-A. Lorentz says he LOVES Chick-Fil-A. His go-to order is a Spicy Chicken Sandwich (with ranch). We know that might be controversial considering the Chick-Fil-A sauce is usually a fan favorite, but he's not a fan.
