Katherine Ryan shocked viewers when she was revealed to be Pigeon in the last episode of The Masked Singer UK.

But there was one fan who was particularly at a loss on finding out the comedian was behind the bird costume: her daughter Violet.

In an Instagram video, the Taskmaster series 2 winner shared Violet's outraged reaction at the unmasking, clearly "livid" at her mum for not having told her she was on the show.

As soon as Ryan takes the mask off, Violet can be seen jumping from the sofa and pacing around the living room.

"Obviously! I knew this the whole time! I knew it wasn't Gemma," Violet tells her mum in the clip, hinting at fan theories that Pigeon could be The Only Way Is Essex star Gemma Collins.

"Why would you lie? You said you weren't on it? I knew it," Violet continues, as she strides into the kitchen, then back towards the sofa, then back into the kitchen.

"I was right!" she concludes.

Meanwhile, Ryan can be heard giggling over having kept the secret, as her baby daughter Fenna Grace coos in the background.

"Oh, Fenna can't believe it," the comedian says in the video.

Ryan was just one month away from giving birth when she recorded for The Masked Singer. She and husband Bobby Kootstra welcomed Fenna in December last year, sharing the news in a sweet Instagram post.

"The fact you managed to keep it secret from your own kid is impressive," one Masked Singer fan commented on Ryan's video of her reveal as Pigeon.

"A typical teenager response! Isn't our purpose as parents to go out of our way to embarrass them?" another user offered.

"There's something brilliant about hearing your baby gurgle off camera, but also being on stage with you. Like she's in on the whole thing," another visitor to Katherine's page wrote.
