On January 30, Hanteo Music Awards has unveiled the first row of artists attending the program. Various artists will be making appearances on the awarding, expecting audiences to anticipate the much-awaited ceremony

In the first lineup, the list consists of popular K-pop acts such as NCT Dream, TEMPEST, CIX, LUCY, EPEX, and WEi. Additionally, the award show will also include soloists BE'O, Jeong Dong Won, and Kim Ho Joong.

On a previous announcement, it was revealed that S.E.S. Eugene, CIX Hyunsuk, and EPEX Baeksung will take part on the program's first day.

Additionally, S.E.S. Eugene will collaborate with Shin Dong Yup as co-host on the second day. Shin Dong Yup is widely known for his effective hosting skills. The host's presence will be amplified with the idols attending the award show, as well as the ceremony's exciting segments.

Hanteo Music Awards 2022 will be held on February 10 to 11, at Jamsil Arena. Fans are expected to await further details and updates.

Hanteo Charts To Honor 30th Anniversary In Awards Show

On November 23, 2022, Hanteo has initially announced the upcoming event, Hanteo Music Awards 2022. The awards show will be held offline to gather fans who are excited to watch their favorite artists up close. It will also mark as Hanteo's first offline ceremony.

Since Hanteo played a vital role in propelling the Korean Wave, the chart has decided to commemorate its 30th anniversary in an award show format.

Hanteo is also the first music chart in Korea to affiliate with K-pop, with the mission to collect real time data in artists' releases.

According to Hanteo Global CEO Kwak Young Ho, the program will navigate back on Hanteo's history and its longtime affiliation with the K-pop industry. The CEO added that the show will welcome both local and international fans.

"This award ceremony will be a meaningful occasion to look back on the history of Hanteo Chart and look back on 30 years of K-pop. We will make it a place where many global fans can enjoy it together."

In other news, Hanteo charts has revealed the best-selling K-pop acts from the year 2000 to 2020. The range covered sales from popular groups, transcending from one generation to another.
