Chungha Reportedly Leaving MNH Entertainment: What's Next For The Idol?
On January 30, several news regarding Chungha leaving her agency MNH Entertainment were released. Media platform Sports World reported that the singer has bid farewell with her current company, and is set to start a new beginning for her career.
In the content, it stated that due to Chungha's contract expiration nearby, the idol has not decided to renew her contract.
After several negotiations with the company, sources reported that Chungha will be leaving after her contract ends in March.
Upon seeing the reports, an MNH official responded to the matters at hand. The official clarified that they will look first on the situation's veracity, and gather more facts before confirming her departure.
On the report, it was also revealed that an insider had shared insights regarding Chungha. The insider believed that Chungha wanted to explore new endeavors in her singing career.

Furthermore, it was added that nothing has been settled, since it's unclear if the soloist will transfer to another agency or create a new management.
"I think Chungha wants to try challenging a new environment. After parting ways with the current agency, nothing has been decided yet whether she'll find a new agency or prepare a one-man agency."
MNH Entertainment has not yet released an official statement regarding Chungha's departure.
Chungha Calls Out MNH Entertainment In Livestream
In other news, the soloist previously revealed her concerns with MNH Entertainment. On August 14, Chungha held a V live stream to engage with her fans, Byulharangs.
During the livestream, the artist was showcased enjoying her time, talking about her music, career and many more. However, in the middle segment, the singer brought up that her latest album "Bare&Rare" was delayed because of the agency's unknown conditions.
Chungha also added that she planned to surprise Australian fans in HallyuPopFest with her new release, but was unable to since the album was delayed.
"The album was delayed, postponed. Ask my company, they know. It was postponed due to the company's condition. My plan was to perform the songs in 'Rare' because I thought it would be released earlier. But since the album was delayed a lot, I couldn't surprise the fans. It's sad."
In another segment of the live, Chungha seemingly showed frustration with the company for not letting her do a world tour. After seeing her reaction, fans asked the possibility of her leaving the company, to which Chungha admitted that departing might be her next plan.
Even if the singer said it in a joking tone, fans still couldn't help but wonder the chances of her leaving.
"Doing a world tour is on my bucket list since I want to do it as well. MNH, why aren't you letting me? I want to leave, please let me go."
