Wilmington Police Department releases photos of suspect in armed robbery at Hardee’s

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - Wilmington police have released photos of a man that held Hardee’s employees at gunpoint during an armed robbery on Monday night.

At closing time, the unknown man reportedly forced his way into the restaurant on S. 17th St, stole an unknown amount of money and ran on foot. No one was injured.

Police are asking for help from the public in identifying the suspect. They believe he is in his 20′s, somewhere between 5′ 5″ and 5′ 10″ tall and about 160 pounds.

The investigation is ongoing.
