Boys basketball recap: Hans inches closer to milestone as Wildwood tops Pleasantville

Junior Hans scored 25 points in leading the Wildwood High boys’ basketball team to a 68-64 victory over Pleasantville Monday in Wildwood.

Hans is now 20 points shy of 1,000 points for his career. Alex Daniel added 20 points as the Warriors (16-2) won for the sixth consecutive game.

Marki Barnes paced the Greyhounds (10-11) who saw their two-game winning streak come to an end. Ibn Mitchell (17) and Jeff Valeus (11) each reached double figures in scoring.
