NFL legend Kurt Warner says current players have no idea who he is

Kurt Warner is one of the greatest to have ever thrown an NFL football, and he has a legendary story and career. No, he'll never have the rings of Tom Brady or get the hype of a prime Aaron Rodgers or Patrick Mahomes, but Warner is a Hall of Famer in his own right.

He's a two-time league MVP, a four-time Pro Bowler, and a Super Bowl champion. That's not bad for a player who went undrafted in the 1994 NFL Draft and made his way to the NFL through the Arena Football League and NFL Europe before getting his big break with the St. Louis Rams.

Warner is a legend and he now covers the game for a living, but his story is apparently old news for some of the young players in today's game. This, per Warner himself.

While on its face this may seem ridiculous. Like, which NFL fan doesn't know Kurt Warner, let alone which NFL player? With that said, it is worth noting that there is quite an age gap between Warner and some of the younger players in the league.

For instance, Warner is currently 51 and he hasn't played since 2009. Indianapolis Colts safety Nick Cross — the league's youngest player — is 20 just years old.

Still, this is Kurt Warner we're talking about. Heck, there was a movie made about this guy. Don't kids watch movies anymore?
