MISSOULA, Mont. —
The Deer Lodge Volunteer Fire Department is urging drivers to watch out for emergency responders on highways.

Crews responded to a vehicle on its side with a possible entrapment at mile marker 181 on Interstate 90 on Sunday.
While directing traffic, one sheriff’s deputy and one Montana Highway Patrol trooper were narrowly missed by oncoming traffic.
Firefighters had to run into ditches multiple times to avoid being hit by drivers who did not slow down or move over.
