Police Investigating After Vehicle Damaged Spring Creek Park Field

The State College Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance as it investigates an alleged act of trespassing and criminal mischief in College Township.

Someone drove a motor vehicle onto the ball field at Spring Creek Park off of Balmoral Drive in College Township and caused “substantial” damage to the turf sometime between Saturday and Monday, police wrote in a media release.

A photo shared by State College police (above) shows the damage to the field.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact the State College Police Department by calling (814) 234-7150, sending an email or submitting an anonymous tip online.
