Thanks to a New Deal, You Can Still Stream These Fox Shows Next Day on Hulu

Last week, Fox renewed The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Bob’s Burgers for at least two more seasons each through 2025, and this week a new deal with Hulu will ensure that every one of those episodes will be on the streaming service the day after it airs. Deadline reports that this deal came just ahead of when the companies’ previous deal was set to end in September.

The multi-year agreement between the two companies means that all Fox shows, whether in season or not, will be available to stream on Hulu, and any in-season shows will have episodes available the next day. With that service will come collaborative marketing, so viewers can expect to see more Hulu-branded commercials and other promotions on Fox.

This is huge for Hulu after NBCUniversal took all of its shows off the service and over to Peacock at the end of last year. Even with that loss, however, Hulu remains one of the only platforms to feature next-day streaming of multiple networks: ABC and Fox, both of which also have parts of their collections streaming on Disney+ (like the entirety of The Simpsons). CBS shows have always been exclusively streamed on Paramount+.

This means that Fox’s new slate of shows will be available to stream the day after they premiere. Those new releases include the Joel McHale-led sitcom Animal Control, airing February 16, streaming February 17, as well as the animated projects Grimsburg starring Jon Hamm and Krapopolis created by Dan Harmon, plus reality cooking series Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars — the premiere dates of the latter three have yet to be announced.

Existing Fox shows in the library available to stream both off season and next day when in-season include: The Cleaning Lady, Alert: Missing Persons Unit, Accused, Call Me Kat, Welcome to Flatch, Housebroken, Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, LEGO Masters, MasterChef, MasterChef Junior, Hell’s Kitchen, Beat Shazam, The Masked Singer, I Can See Your Voice, Name That Tune, Domino Masters, and Next Level Chef.
