Chelsea could still sign Moises Caicedo on deadline day even if they sign Enzo Fernandez . A move for the Brighton midfielder has not been ruled out and could still happen.
Arsenal had a bid rejected for Caicedo last night almost immediately after sending it to Brighton. The fee was £70million but Brighton are looking for closer to £90million to part ways with the player.
Chelsea have been interested in Caicedo since the summer and a move has not been fully ruled out on deadline day.

According to Jacob Steinberg of the Guardian , Chelsea could still make a move for Moises Caicedo on deadline day even if they sign Enzo Fernandez.
Chelsea are closing in on a deal for Enzo Fernandez worth around €130million, but they are still interested in Moises Caicedo despite that.
In an ideal world Chelsea could sign both of their two main midfielder targets within this window, and while it will certainly be difficult it is not out of the question.
Arsenal have not made a third bid for Caicedo as of yet but Brighton are remaining firm on their stance that the player will stay until the summer.
Chelsea will need to make an important bid if they are to sign the player and also work out a way to fit into FFP regulations while doing so.
It is an unlikely scenario due to Brighton's stance, but Chelsea could make a late push for Moises Caicedo tomorrow.
