The Colorado Land Co. celebrated its 8th Annual Customer Appreciation Dinner at the Longmeadow Event Center in Wiggins on Saturday.

Colorado Land Co. has offices in Fort Morgan, Brush, and Wiggins. Owners Kent and Suzy Lindell became involved with real estate in 2008, running their business out of the basement of their home.  In 2014 they opened their office on Main Street with one agent.  After growing to three agents, they opened their Brush office in 2018 and another office in Wiggins in 2019.  They are now a total of 14 including agents and administrative personnel throughout all of their offices.

When the Lindells held their first event, they had 15 – 20 guests.  Over the years, the business has grown and so have the number of clients and the Saturday event in Wiggins boasted nearly 200 guests.

“Our motivation is to give back to our clients,” said Suzy.  “They trusted us to help them buy a house or sell their house or their commercial property, and that is a big deal to us.  We think it’s important to say thank you every year.  We are proud of this dinner and I think that our clients enjoy it.”

The idea came to Kent several years ago and, when they had built up their business, they decided to start the tradition of the dinner to celebrate their clients and the real estate business they’d conducted over the year.

“We have wonderful people working for us,” said Suzy.  “We have the best realtors in the business and we have a lot of fun together.”

“We are so proud of our associates,” added Kent.  “They do such an awesome job.  They are competitive but professional and take their business models seriously and that is so neat to see.”

The Lindells made a big announcement at the Customer Appreciation Dinner.  They have brought in a president, Tony Carnesi, to take over many duties in the company.  Carnesi originally came to the company as a business advisor to counsel and coach on the inner workings of the company.  As the relationship developed with the company, he agreed to accept the new position.

Carnesi is a Colorado native and has been in the real estate industry in Denver for 22 years, all those years with the same firm. For 10 years he built and lead one of Denver’s top real estate teams and was involved in the closing of over 1,600 transactions.

In 2010, Carnesi took over the CEO and Managing Broker role at the firm he grew up in. In his 12 years as CEO, he increased closed production by over 213%, doubled agent count (to over 500 associates), and became the number one firm in the six-county metro area in closed units, sales volume, and agent count. He has a passion for teaching and coaching, and personally coaches many emerging realtors and top producers in Colorado and around the country.

Carnesi believes in giving back and supporting others on a high level. He helped launch a foundation to support realtors and their immediate families, the firm’s employees and their families, and other 501 (c)(3’s) in the state of Colorado. In his time with the foundation, he has been the Emcee at several of the foundation’s annual galas and helped raise more than $900,000 to benefit agents, employees, family members, and 9 other foundations.

He loves spending time in the mountains, cooking, and traveling, and loves supporting his two nationally competitive athletic teenagers.

“We want to let our clients know and let the community know,” said Suzy.  “He is going to help our realtors become better and serve the community better.  He has 22 years of experience in the real estate industry and he is going to help us take it up another notch.”

“We will have better response, be more efficient, have greater reach, and have access to talent and better services for our clients,” said Kent.

Carnesi will help each associate with their business real estate models and help them build and grow those strategically and deliberately.  His engagement has been exciting for the realtors and is a good energy.

“You have entrusted Colorado Land Co. and our associates to help you with your most important asset,” said Kent.  “Whether you are buying or you are selling, you have trusted us to help you with our expertise and our marketing techniques to get you the highest and the best and help you find that perfect property.  Because of you, our customers, and our clients, Colorado Land Co. has seen some pretty remarkable things happen since we started.  We don’t take for granted that you have entrusted us to help you.”
