More than a dozen cars were all caught in a pile-up this morning in Denton County where people out driving today say they're hoping to finish work before the worst of the weather moves in.

The Denton County Sheriff's Office says up to 20 cars were involved in a crash on FM 2499 just north of Teasley Lane. The wreck only caused minor injuries but shut down 2499 for several hours.

One man filling up at a gas station nearby says he moved here recently from Tennessee and says he didn't understand why Texans have such trouble with cold weather, at first.

He says he had to drive a couple blocks out of his way to get around the closure, but he said he was expecting more problems later this week.

Cities across north Texas reported more car crashes than usual this morning, and drivers here say they're expecting the roads to get worse today as more weather moves in.
