Christine Brown is giving love another chance following her split from Kody Brown.
“I’m dating again!! Holy. Hell. Awkward,” the “Sister Wives” star – who ended her years-long relationship with Kody in November 2021 – wrote via Instagram on Sunday.
”Dating online is crazy! Any advice for dating at 50?!”
Despite her fears, Christine shared that she finds the prospect of dating “exciting.”
She added the hashtags, “#datingadvice #datingtips #dating #feelinggood #exciting #newbeginnings #awkward.”
Christine also posted several photos of herself smiling in front of a gorgeous, scenic background. She looked edgy in black jeans, black booties and a black leather jacket.
Fans of the reality star quickly flooded the comments section to share some words of encouragement.
“You need no advice, you got this — and you’re the prize! ❤️❤️❤️,” one person wrote on the photo, with another adding, “Know your worth and double it. don’t settle. have fun. 💕.”
“Don’t ignore the red flags!” a third user advised.
“Be unapologetically YOU!! You will find someone who loves and honors and celebrates you for *exactly* who you are. And it will be GLORIOUS 😍!!” another chimed in.
In November 2021, Christine announced that she was ending her 25-year “spiritual union” with Kody, now 54, and leaving her polygamist family.
“Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave,” Christine wrote via Instagram at the time. “We will continue to be a strong presence in each other’s lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family.”
The TLC personality decided to end things with Kody after he shared that he was no longer attracted to her.
“It was terrible to hear. And it’s super embarrassing,” she said in a December 2022 episode of “Sister Wives: One on One.” “It was almost a relief. I’m not going to keep fighting for this, and I’m not going to keep trying and I’m not going to keep doing this if you’re not attracted to me.”
She added, “So, everything that I’ve done for you, for the family, means nothing.”
Kody, for his part, said that Christine’s decision to leave came with a “great deal of sadness.” The father of 18 added that they would “remain committed parents” to the six children they share.
Christine seemingly shaded her ex, saying that she’s just looking for someone “who treats women well.”
Clearly, other women didn’t think Kody was being a good husband.
Two of his wives, Meri, 52, and Janelle, 53, both announced last year that they were separating from him and ending their polygamist relationships as well.
Meri shares one kid with Kody while Janelle has six kids with him.
Kody currently has only one wife remaining: 44-year-old Robyn. The two said “I do” in 2014 and share two kids together. She also shares three kids with ex-husband David Preston Jessop.
