Hockey fundraiser for Huntington's disease

PITTSTON, Pa, (WOLF) —
The King's College men's hockey team faced off against Alvernia University at the Revolution Ice Centre in Pittston Friday.

It was all for a good cause though as the two rivals raised funds and awareness for Huntington's disease.
Huntington's is a genetic disease that affects the nerve cells in the brain that is described as having ALS.
One of the players spoke on how his own mother passed after a long battle with the disease.

Today, there are approximately 41,000 symptomatic Americans and more than 200,000 at risk of inheriting the disease
