Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey has message for Bengals after AFC Championship loss

The Ravens were sitting at home while the Bengals played in the AFC Championship Game. However, CB Marlon Humphrey wanted the final laugh following the loss of their division rivals.

Humphrey took to Twitter after Cincinnati's season came to an end to welcome the Bengals to the offseason.

It was lighthearted but it felt like there was some intent for a dig at the team that ended his season.

Baltimore was 1-2 vs. Cincinnati this year, losing to them in the Wild Card round of the playoffs. But Humphrey attempted to even the score as both teams are now out of the running for the Super Bowl.

The six year veteran had just 11 tackles in the three matchups between the two teams, maybe adding to the emotion behind the tweet.

Both teams have quite the offseason ahead as each is preparing to pay its franchise quarterback handsomely, making their other roster moves all the more important.

The Ravens and Bengals certainly haven't seen the last of each other and will likely play in many more meaningful games in the future.

Humphrey may have had the last laugh as the 2022 season nears an end but Cincinnati will surely be ready for Baltimore in 2023.
