Will Aaron Rodgers head to New York?
As soon as the Jets hired Nathaniel Hackett as their new offensive coordinator, rumors about acquiring the Green Bay Packers quarterback have been swirling.

And ESPN’s Mike Greenberg thinks Rodgers could make all the difference for the Jets. He said on ‘Get Up!’:
“I believe that Aaron Rodgers could make Garrett Wilson into Davante Adams. ... I actually do think with Aaron Rodgers they would have a shot at [the Super Bowl] next year.”
There’s lots of speculation that Rodgers could be the veteran quarterback head coach Robert Saleh is “committed” to finding. Rodgers rumors heated up after the Jets hired Hackett as their new offensive coordinator last week, as Hackett was the Packers’ offensive coordinator from 2019 to 2021 and worked with the star QB then.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Green Bay “prefers to move on from Rodgers,” so they could look to deal the 39-year-old. The Jets are desperate for a quarterback with Zach Wilson looking like a bust just two years after being the No. 2 pick overall in the 2021 NFL Draft.
