
PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Pittsfield police closed a section of West Street Monday morning following a pedestrian accident.
Pittsfield woman pleads guilty to animal cruelty charges Pittsfield Police Sgt Marc Maddalena told 22News, at around 9:13 a.m. officers were called to the area of 300 West Street after a vehicle hit two pedestrians. The vehicle, a 2015 Toyota Yaris was driven by 84-year-old Loraine Utter and was traveling westbound near Dorothy Amos Park when she struck 30-year-old Shaloon Milford of Pittsfield and her 3-year-old daughter.
The mother was taken to Berkshire Medical Center for serious injuries and the 3-year-old was treated for minor injuries.
A portion of West Street was closed for approximately three hours while the traffic unit conducted the investigation.
