Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.

Home and Away confirms some notable absences at Tane Parata's wedding on UK screens next week.

Tane and his fiancée Felicity Newman have been making plans to tie the knot in a romantic ceremony in front of family and friends, which will take place at UK pace in early March.

However, in next week's episodes on Channel 5, Tane discovers that not everyone can make it for the special occasion.

Gemma Parata, who had a six-month stint on the Summer Bay soap in 2020, can't come over to Australia for the wedding.

Gemma was introduced as the wife of Tane's late brother Mikaere and the mum of Nikau. She left the Bay for New Zealand in July 2020.

Meanwhile, Chloe Anderson also sends her apologies as she can't attend the wedding either.

Chloe was the stepdaughter of Tane's other late brother Ari. She left the show in July 2022.

Tane is upset over the absences, as he'd wanted all of his family to be in attendance.

Felicity spots that something is bothering Tane, who admits that he feels disconnected from his family after the disappointing news.

Felicity and Nikau later do all they can to make Tane feel better about the situation.

It's soon confirmed that Tane and Felicity will take a trip to New Zealand after the wedding, allowing them to catch up with absent family members.

Felicity suggests that they should use money kindly offered by her foster father Gary to do a massive trip around New Zealand.

When Felicity sees how much this means to Tane, she starts thinking about other ways that she can honour him and his family.

Felicity tells Nikau that she'd like to make a wedding speech in Te Reo Māori, but will need his help with the translation.

Nikau is only too happy to assist, feeling touched by Felicity's efforts to respect their culture.

Home and Away airs these scenes on Thursday, February 9 and Friday, February 10 at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.

Selected classic episodes are available via Prime Video in the UK.
