News Center 7 crews at the scene described traffic backing up into Indiana.

Troopers eventually helped traffic, composed of mostly commercial trucks, exit the nearest open freeway exit.

When responders first arrived, crews called for a MedFlight, dispatch said. However, it was later canceled once the victim was pronounced dead.

Previous reports stated that the crash involved a semi truck trailer, but News Center 7 crews later determined it was a truck carrying transit vans.
