(Rowe, MA) At 2:52 a.m. Sunday morning, the Rowe Fire Department responded to reports of a fully involved barn fire on Middletown Hill Road. According to the Rowe Fire Department, Fire Chief Dennis Annear requested a second alarm be rung for mutual aid while en route to the scene.
Mutual aid was provided by the Fire Departments of Colrain, Charlemont, Florida, Shelburne, Shelburne Falls, Buckland, Heath, and Rowe Police Department. From Vermont, mutual aid was provided by the Whitingham, Readsboro, Wilmington, and Halifax Fire Departments.
