>> LET’S GO TO NEWSCHOPPER 9 THERE’S A FIRE HAPPENING RIGHT NOW IN THE PARKING LOT IT MAY BE FIREWORKS RELATED WHAT DO YOU THINK? >> YEAH I THINK SO THERE IS GOING TO BE GATE NUMBER SEVEN AT STADIUM DRIVE OVER THERE, AND THEN AN EXIT ONLY LANE THERE AND I BELIEVE THIS IS ON THE TOP OF THE HILL AND IT REALLY SEEMS TO BE WHERE WE SAW SOME FIREWORKS A WHILE AGO. WE SAW PLENTY COMING FROM THE FIRE -- PART GETTING LOT -- PARKING LOT AND THOSE WERE FROM THE TAILGATERS BUT THIS MAY HAVE BEEN FROM THE STADIUM AS WELL. RIGHT NOW IT IS A GRASS FIRE THAT IS MOVING ALONG PRETTY SWIFTLY TO THE SOUTH WITH A NORTH WIND AT THE TOP OF THAT. FIRE EQUIPMENT ON THE SCENE, NOT THREATENING ANYTHING EXCEPT FOR THE CARS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE HILL. HOPING THOSE FOLKS ARE GOING TO BE SMART ENOUGH TO STOP AND NOT TRY TO GO THROUGH THAT. I DON’T KNOW IF THE GRASS MAKES IT ALL THE WAY DOWN THERE, IT IS TOO DARK FOR US TO TELL BUT I WOULD THINK IF IT GOES RIGHT ALONG THAT PAVEMENT THAT IT COULD BE A LITTLE BIT DICEY FOR THOSE WHO ARE DRIVING ON THAT EXIT RAMP RIGHT NOW. LOOKING TO SEE IF FIREFIGHTERS ARE MAKING THEIR WAY THERE AND JUST STICKING RIGHT NOW WITH THE WEST SIDE OF THE FIRE. WE ARE LOOKING TO THE SOUTH RIGHT NOW SO GRASS FIRE OUT HERE OUTSIDE OF ARROWHEAD RIGHT ALONG STADIUM DRIVE TO THE NORTHWEST SIDE AND RIGHT NOW IT LOOKS LIKE NOT MUCH GOING ON AS FAR AS FIGHTING THIS FIRE.
