Stanford's Cameron Brink tallies 10 blocks in triple-double (1:59)

Cameron Brink racks up 16 points, 11 rebounds and 10 blocks in No. 3 Stanford's win over Oregon. (1:59)

Stanford's Cameron Brink recorded the second triple-double with blocks in Pac-12 history, helping to propel the Cardinal to a 62-54 victory Sunday over Oregon at Maples Pavilion.

Brink -- considered a future WNBA draft lottery pick -- finished with 16 points, 11 rebounds and a career-high 10 blocks.

The other triple-double with blocks in conference history came from Oregon State's Ruth Hamblin in 2014. Hamblin also owns the Pac-12 single-season blocks record with 141 (2013-14).

"What a great game for Cam," Stanford coach Tara VanDerveer said. "I don't think there's anyone on the block that's any better in our league for sure, and I think she challenges anyone nationally."

Brink's interior presence helped the Cardinal hold the Ducks to a season-low 54 points.

Brink, known for being foul-prone, avoided that becoming an issue Sunday. She finished with two fouls in 32 minutes. The 6-foot-4 junior forward said she knew she was close to achieving the triple-double towards the end of the game and that even though her 10th block wasn't counted right away, she knew she made contact with the ball.

"I think I just started out hot," Brink said of her blocks. "They started driving in the paint, I just started blocking shots.... it was a fun game.

"I'm really excited about [the triple-double]. I love blocking shots, it's probably what I do best. It gets me in trouble sometimes but I'm glad it paid off today."

Brink has 22 blocks in the last three games, which is the most for a Pac-12 player in a three-game span over at least the last 20 seasons, according to ESPN Stats & Information research. She has 88 blocks this season.

"Cam is just scratching the surface of how good she can be," VanDerveer said. "She's got so much upside."

Longwood's Akila Smith was the last Division I women's basketball player to record a triple-double with blocks, doing so on Nov. 30, 2021.

Brink needs seven more blocks to become the program's leader in that category, which she'd accomplish by surpassing Jayne Appel's 273.
