Police found the body of Keylin Yolibeth Chavez-Dominguez, a 20-year-old Rockville woman who had been missing for a month.
Chavez-Dominguez was last seen by family and friends around 6 p.m., December 30, at her apartment in the 12300 block of Braxfield Court. police said. She was reported missing on January 2.
A witness reported seeing Chavez-Dominguez leaving the Braxfield Court apartment complex with a man on Saturday, December 31. The witness saw her wearing a white sweater, a tan vest, black leggings, and dark-colored boots, police said.
Montgomery County Police and Maryland Transportation Authority Police responded at about 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon to Upper Paint Branch Stream Valley Park for the report of a “suspicious situation.”
Police found Chavez-Dominguez's body, which was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore. An autopsy will be conducted to officially determine the cause and manner of death.
Police said no suspect is in custody.
Montgomery County Police are conducting an active and ongoing investigation.
