The New York Islanders announced that Aatu Raty, Samuel Bolduc and Simon Holmstrom have been loaned to the Bridgeport Islanders on Sunday morning.
Bolduc played in four games for the Islanders, making his NHL debut on Jan. 23 against the Maple Leafs. The 22-year-old defenseman accumulated a total of four shots, eight hits and two blocked shots over his first four games in the NHL, averaging 14:52 TOI in each game. Bolduc played 40 games with Bridgeport this season, recording a career-best 26 points (8G, 18A). He is sixth in the AHL in shots, with 99.

All-Star Classic
for the weekend of Feb. 5-6.
Holmstrom played 24 games in the NHL this season, recording three points (2G, 1A) for New York. The Islanders 2019 first round draft pick (23rd overall) made his NHL debut on Nov. 23 against the Edmonton Oilers. Holmstrom netted his first NHL goal on Dec. 17 in a 5-2 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights, which held up as the game-winner. The 21-year-old winger scored most recently for the Islanders in a 5-2 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Jan. 21, driving to the net on a one-on-three to get the Islanders on the board.

Holmstrom collected five points in 15 games played in the AHL for Bridgeport, recording five points (3G, 2A) including a short-handed goal on Oct. 28.
Raty put up two goals in 12 games for the Islanders this season, since his recall on Dec. 23 to take on the Florida Panthers in his first NHL bid. The Islanders 2021 second round draft pick (52nd overall) scored in his first NHL game with the third tally in a 5-2 victory for New York. Aside from his two goals, the 20-year-old forward racked up 16 shots, 17 hits and four takeaways over his first 12 games in the NHL.
Raty played 27 games in Bridgeport this season, with 15 points (7G, 8A) over that span, including three goals on the power play.
Bolduc, Holmstrom and Raty will get a chance to hit the ice while the Islanders are on the All-Star break. Bridgeport will face the league-leading Hershey Bears in a home-and-home series beginning Sunday at 3pm in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, with four days off before hosting the Washington Capitals AHL affiliate on Friday at 7pm.
