We've seen what amazing things the Oregon men's basketball team has been able to accomplish this season, such as taking down or playing with top-ranked opponents, but we've also seen how inconsistent the Ducks can play after losing to Stanford last weekend.
But the game against Utah on Saturday night was a good test to show fans what the Ducks are truly made of.
Could Oregon play consistent enough to capture two wins in a weekend?
From the start of the game against Utah the Ducks dominated, feeding Nate Bittle, who had a stellar game against Coloardo, to open up some shot opportunities on the outside.
Even when the Utes pushed back in the second half, the Ducks continued to put the pressure on the defensive side and out-rebound their opponent.
With that, the Ducks came out on top, taking down Utah, 68-56.
The Ducks know that even with two wins, there is still a long road ahead.
The team said they have been playing with a sense of urgency after losing to Stanford.
"I feel like everybody just came, even though we lost, the next day,” said Ducks senior guard Jermaine Couisnard. “We can't hold it. Like, that's the past, so we just get prepared because we have a long season ahead of us. We just came in, just day-to-day, just trying to get better every day."
The Ducks will head to the desert to face Arizona and Arizona State next week.
