With Jackson and the Ravens still at a stalemate, a representative for the former league MVP has begun contacting teams in an effort to create a possible landing spot for the quarterback, according to Pro Football Talk, and telling them he's ready to move on from Baltimore.

Powell agreed Wednesday with Minnesota on a one-year contract, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Powell appeared in all 17 regular-season games for the Rams in 2022, totaling 24 receptions on 32 targets for 156 yards while rushing 17 times for 80 yards. He also complied 605 kick-return yards and 177 punt-return yards. With Adam Thielen off to Carolina, the No. 3 wideout spot behind Justin Jefferson and K.J. Osborn appears to be open for competition. Powell could have a chance to carve out a solid offensive role, though he may be valued mostly for his ability to contribute on special teams, both as a return man and in kick coverage. Powell is unlikely to unseat Kene Nwangwu -- who has three career return touchdowns -- as the primary kick returner, but he should have a good chance to win the punt-returning gig over Jalen Reagor.

Hudson was optioned to Triple-A Memphis by the Cardinals on Tuesday. Hudson had allowed six earned runs on 17 hits and four walks through 8.2 innings this spring in Grapefruit League play, which works out to a 6.23 ERA and 2.42 WHIP. The 28-year-old right-hander posted a 3.14 ERA across his first 249.2 major-league innings between 2018-2021, but the underlying metrics have always been poor and his stock continues to drastically tumble. He'll presumably work out of the rotation with Memphis.

It's something that Hiura is trying to reincorporate on the fly as he struggles to find a groove in Cactus League play. Through his first 35 plate appearances this spring, the 26-year-old has batted just .156/.229/.219 with zero home runs and 15 strikeouts. He is out of minor-league options, so a tough decision could be coming soon as the Brewers sort out their Opening Day roster.

As of Tuesday, Washington is averaging 26.5 points across six G League games.

Garza has averaged 29.2 points, 10.8 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.6 blocks over five games with Iowa.

Hernandez has covered five innings without allowing an earned run over three Cactus League appearances. Hernandez has also posted a 6:1 K:BB with just three hits allowed. His workload hasn't been that heavy in the spring, but he's performed well in the limited sample. The 26-year-old right-hander looks set to fill a bullpen role as a multi-inning option this season. He struggled to a 7.39 ERA and 1.84 WHIP over 56 innings last season, but if he carry over his improved control from the spring to the regular season, he should at least enjoy a little more job security.

If he's able to bring his numbers back down, he could rejoin the Pirates' bullpen during the season.
