WINONA, MINNESOTA - The ex-boyfriend of Maddi Kingsbury and father of Maddi's two children was arrested and taken into custody this evening, Wednesday, June 7, 2023, just after 7 PM. Adam Fravel was arrested on probable cause concerning Maddi's disappearance and is being charged with the suspicion of second-degree with intent, not premeditated. According to a statement made by the Winona Police Department just after 9 PM this evening, human remains were found by a Fillmore County deputy Wednesday afternoon north of Mabel, Minnesota. They state the body was found in some brush off Highway 43 and was found through the information generated by police during their investigation into Maddi's disappearance. Several police agencies are quickly working to confirm the identity of the remains. He is currently being held at the Winona County Jail.
