Oklahomans spread their message and condemned the officers involved in the death of Tyre Nichols.

They stand in solidarity with communities across the country, including Memphis.
"End police brutality, Justice for Tyre. What happened in Memphis is devastating news. I watched the video, and I was just absolutely disgusted," said Dominique Gray, a member of the community.
The small band of activists out in a busy intersection spread their message, hoping for honks of agreement.
"That's why us local activists are out here every time this happens because Black lives do matter," Gray said.

They said even though they’re small in number, they can spread their message and hope to see more Oklahomans join in as the weekend continues.
"I just like to bring awareness. I don't really care about a crowd. My thing is to bring awareness to let people know that this is going on and it's wrong," said Yolanda Washington, a member of the community.
KOCO 5 heard from Oklahoma City police, the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office and others as they gave statements against the arrest. On Saturday, more agencies in Oklahoma came forward, such as The Village Police Department, saying, “We join with other law enforcement agencies across the metro, state and nation to voice our anger and sadness of the behavior that caused Mr. Nichols’ tragic and unnecessary death.”
They plan to continue the conversation on Sunday with a vigil hosted by ‘Black Lives Matter and a community forum for residents to have a dialogue with local law enforcement.
