ABOUT 15 MINUTES. THE HUNT FOR A KILLER IS ON IN WEST PALM BEACH AFTER A911 CALL LED OFFICERS TO A DEAD MAN. POLICE SAY A 30 YEAR OLD MAN WAS FOUND DEAD INSIDE OF A UNIT AT THE ROYAL ST GEORGE’S APARTMENTS ON BRANDYWINE ROAD. IT HAPPENED FRIDAY NIGHT. OFFICIALS SAY THEY CAME ACROSS THE BODY AFTER SOMEONE CALLED SAYING THEY THOUGHT SOMEONE WAS DEAD INSIDE IT. POLICE SAY IT LOOKS LIKE HE WAS SHOT. THERE WERE NO SIGNS OF FORCED ENTRY. West Palm Beach police are looking for the person responsible for a fatal shooting in West Palm Beach after a man was found dead Friday night.Officials say a 30-year-old man was murdered in an apartment in the Royal St. George apartment community. 'Enough is enough': Dozens attend funeral for mother killed at Martin Luther King Jr. event in Fort PierceWest Palm Beach police received a 911 call that day at 5:43 p.m. Officials in a news release Saturday said that the caller was hysterical and reported they believed someone was dead inside an apartment.When officers and West Palm Beach Fire Rescue responded to the scene in the 1600 Block of Brandywine Road, they found the man dead in a second-floor unit of the three-story building.Detectives are still in the preliminary stages of the investigation but do not believe this was a random killing.Deep Dive: WPBF 25 News InvestigatesIn the release, officials said the apartment did not appear to have anyone living in it.
