BPD release surveillance video of suspects after 2 die in shooting, kids injured in crash

Baltimore police on Tuesday released surveillance footage of suspects from the fatal shooting in west Baltimore on Saturday.

The shooting occurred just after 6:30 p.m. on Saturday in the 1700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

Gerald Fowlkes, 43, and Maya Morton, 23, died as a result of their injuries. Two children in the car with Morton, ages 14-months and 3-years-old, were critically injured after the vehicle crashed into a pole.

A 65-year-old man standing on Pennsylvania Avenue was also shot and taken to a hospital.

During an interview with C4 and Bryan Nehman on Tuesday, Baltimore police Commissioner Michael Harrison said it’s unclear if the man and woman fatally shot were the intended targets.

Harrison also said police believed there were multiple shooters that fired guns in different directions.
