Briefly drying out today with more rain likely later in the week

Briefly drying out today with more rain likely later in the week
WE ARE SEEING A LOT OF US ARE DRYING OUT NOW. WE STILL HAVE PLENTY OF CLOUDS AROUND, SOME FOG IN NORTHWEST ALABAMA, BUT NOT A LOT OF RAIN ON THE MAP. CURRENTLY, THINGS ARE STILL PRETTY DAMP. BUT AT LEAST FOR MOST OF US, THE RAIN HAS COME TO AN END. WE MAY STILL SEE A COUPLE OF SPOTTY SHOWERS AROUND THROUGH THE DAY, BUT MOST AREAS RAIN FREE TUESDAY. WEDNESDAY, THOUGH, THERE WILL BE SOME OCCASIONAL SHOWERS AROUND. AND THEN BY THURSDAY, WE ARE GOING TO START TO SEE MORE WIDESPREAD COVERAGE OF RAIN. THURSDAY, WE HAVE AN IMPACT DAY JUST BECAUSE WE’RE EXPECTING SOME HEAVIER RAIN AND MOST OF US WILL GET SOME ON THURSDAY. LET ME TAKE YOU THROUGH THE NEXT 36 HOURS OR SO ON THE FUTURE CASES STARTING THIS MORNING, KIND OF HEADING THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. YOU’LL NOTICE BY AROUND FOUR OR 5:00 THIS SHOWS MAYBE A FEW SPOTTY SHOWERS IN SOME OF OUR SOUTHERN COUNTIES. MOST OF US WILL CLIMB INTO THE SIXTIES TODAY FOR THOSE AFTERNOON HIGHS. SO IT IS EXPECTED TO BE PRETTY MILD HEADING INTO TUESDAY, THOUGH, THERE IS GOING TO BE A FRONTAL BOUNDARY. IT’S ACTUALLY EXPECTED TO GIVE SOME PRETTY NASTY WINTER WEATHER TO OUR FRIENDS TO THE NORTH WITH REALLY AN ICE STORM EXPECTED UP INTO PARTS OF TENNESSEE. FOR US, THE FRONT WILL STALL ACROSS CENTRAL ALABAMA AND WHAT THAT’S GOING TO DO FOR US ON TUESDAY IS GIVE US A PRETTY WIDE SPREAD RANGE IN OUR TEMPERATURES. SO FOR TUESDAY AFTERNOON, SOME OF OUR SOUTHERN COUNTIES MAY ACTUALLY GET CLOSE TO 60 AREAS UP ALONG THE HIGHWAY TO 78 CORRIDOR, MAINLY TOP OUT IN THE FORTIES. IT COULD END UP BEING A PRETTY CHILLY DAY FOR YOU FOLKS. AND YOU’LL NOTICE SOME OCCASIONAL RAIN SHOWERS WILL COME IN ON TUESDAY, ESPECIALLY AS WE HEAD INTO TUESDAY EVENING, TUESDAY NIGHT. MORE OF THE SAME ON WEDNESDAY AS WELL WITH SOME OCCASIONAL SHOWERS. AND THEN THAT BETTER MORE WIDE SPREAD CHANCE FOR RAIN BY THURSDAY. WE’VE GOT SOME FOG ISSUES UP ACROSS THE NORTH AND NORTHWEST. MOST OF US OR THE FIFTIES, THOUGH, PRETTY MILD. A LOT OF RAIN SHOWING UP ON THE MAP. MOST OF US ARE REALLY DRYING OUT. SIXTIES FOR HIGHS TODAY. RAIN CHANCE IS PRETTY LIMITED. WE’LL GO WITH ABOUT A 40 TO 50% CHANCE FOR SOME OF THOSE OCCASIONAL SHOWERS. TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY. EVERYBODY SHOULD SEE SOME OF THAT RAIN ON THURSDAY AND THEN DRYING OUT IN TIME FOR THE WEEKEN
