The Indianola boys wrestling team took home the regular season Little Hawkeye Conference tournament championship on Thursday with a win over Norwalk, then completed the season sweep on Saturday with a LHC Tournament win scoring 234 team points. Norwalk scored 198 points to finish in third, while Pella scored 165 points to place fourth.
Little Hawkeye Conference champions for the Indians included Bowen Downey at 120lbs, Jake Pontier at 145lbs, and AJ Pontier at 160lbs, while Carson Cooper at 106lbs and Isaiah Kellow at 182lbs both placed second.

Norwalk had the most individual champions of any team, as Tyler Harper home a championship at 106lbs, Donovan Card also won at 138lbs, Dominic Tigner at 152lbs, Kolton Borcherding-Johnson at 220lbs, and Maddux Borcherding-Johnson at 285lbs all won.

Top finishers for Pella included second place finishes for Damion Clark at 132lbs, Peyton Ritzert at 138lbs, T.R. Putz at 145lbs, Jackson Van Kley at 170lbs, Kieran Van Voorst at 195lbs, and Noah Parson at 220lbs.

Indianola and Norwalk will match up one more time in the dual season Tuesday at Valley High School in the regional qualifier, while Pella will have to wait until individual qualifying next Saturday.
