The Bloodline & Sami Zayn Split, Zayn Attacks Roman Reigns

Sami Zayn being part of The Bloodline appears to be no more.

During the main event of Saturday night’s WWE Royal Rumble 2023 pay-per-view event, Kevin Owens faced off against Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns in a losing effort.

While Owens and Reigns went back-and-forth during the match, it was Owens who ate a spear through a barricade near the end of the match. Reigns then slammed Owens’ head onto the edge of the steel steps not once, but twice. The finish came when Reigns was able to hit another spear on Owens for the 1, 2, 3.

Following the match, The Bloodline came into the ring and beat down Owens. Sami Zayn watched on from the corner of the ring, clearly not being a fan of what was happening to his best friend. The Bloodline eventually handcuffed Owens to the ring ropes, with Zayn finally coming in to say that enough is enough. This didn’t make Roman Reigns happy.

At that point, Reigns presented Zayn with a chair and demanded that he finish off Owens. Instead, Zayn decided to hit the Tribal Chief with the chair.

At that point, Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso started beating down Sami Zayn, but Jey Uso wanted no part of it and walked off. Reigns continued to attack Zayn as Jey walked to the back.

The show went off the air with the Bloodline leaving the ring, minus Jey Uso. Meanwhile, Zayn and Owens were laid out in the ring.
