One man is dead and four others are injured, including an infant and a toddler, following a shooting that led to a crash in the Baltimore area Saturday evening.
Shortly after 6:30 p.m., Baltimore police responded to the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Laurens Street after reports of gunshots.
Officers found two men, ages 43 and 65, and a 23-year-old woman, all of whom were suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Police said the woman was driving with a 3-year-old boy and a two-month-old boy when she was shot.
First responders transported the victims to area hospitals, where the 43-year-old man was pronounced dead.
The woman and the 65-year-old man are listed as stable, according to police.
The toddler and the infant were injured in the crash with head trauma and lacerations.
The three-year-old is stable, and the two-month-old is in critical condition, according to police.
Homicide investigators assumed control over the investigation.
