A young couple in Mobile has decided to take action and help those in need by starting their own organization "It's All Love".
Turning passion into action they headed downtown today to make a difference in their own communities.
"They just need some help. They need some help that's not only going to come around on Thanksgiving and Christmas, but they also need some current help," said Jahrahd Green, the Co-founder of Its All Love.
The organization that gives back 100% of its profits to the less fortunate and homeless communities.
Still in its early stages, it will focus on providing basic necessities.
"We always give them a hot meal and then something to take for later," said Shamya Rogers, the co-founder of Its All Love, "We bring necessities like socks, clothes, t-shirts, things that cost a dollar, two dollars. It doesn't cost much to touch their hearts."
They are also working to provide shelter to those who ae homeless or struggling to make ends meet.
"I'm trying to expand it where I can sometimes come out here and get them some hotel rooms for the night, i don't want to just be able to give them food. They need a roof, just like we need a roof. If I could be able to get the blessings to bless them, I want to bless them times two," said Rogers.
Inspired by the generosity and kindness of the community. They believe that by working together, they can make a difference in the lives of those who are most in need.
"Our dream is to come around at least once a week, if we could give something to them at least once a week that's only 52 days out of the year that they can count on a meal or a hot plate and that will do a lot to you," said Green.
It's All Love is a shining example of how a person's passion and dedication can make a real difference in the lives of others. Green and Rogers say they hope their efforts will inspire other to act and make a difference in Mobile.
"It's not hard to just think about the certain things that you didn't have in life, you are just grateful that it didn't go this far," said Green, "This is something that has to be done consistently throughout normal life, these are the only thing to help these people begin to know that they are going to make it. These are the type of things that effect crime, it affects all our daily lives on a larger scale."
The couple is currently in the process of fundraising and is accepting donations from anyone who would like to contribute.
